Early-bird Registration for TCDL ends April 14

Early-bird registration for the 2017 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL) ends April 14. If you have not yet registered, now is the time!

The 2017 TCDL will be held May 23 – 25 at the Commons Learning Center on the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in Austin. The conference program is now available and includes a host of workshops, birds-of-a-feather sessions, and group meetings in addition to the main conference program of presentations and posters that you won’t want to miss!

Keynote Speaker:

We are delighted to welcome Mike Casey as this year’s keynote speaker. Mike Casey is Technical Director of the Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative at Indiana University, which has digitally preserved more than 150,000 audio and video recordings.

Travel and Accommodations:

There are a number of nearby hotels with shuttle service upon request to the conference venue, and discounted room rates are available at the ALOFT at the Domain Hotel and Fairfield Inn & Suites through April 24. Austin also has many options for transportation including shuttles, taxis, and ride-sharing services. More information about accommodations and transportation is available on the conference website.

Workshops:

Several pre-conference workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, May 23. These are free for TCDL attendees, but sign-up is required as seating is limited. View pre-conference workshops and register here.

We look forward to seeing you in May!
